Overview[]
When crafting a weapon or armour, the base weapons stats and rename will transfer over to the new crafted item.
So if you had a baseball bat that was Godcrafted (8/8/8) and it was renamed to "Lucille", the crafted Nail Bat would also be named "Lucille" and be Godcrafted.
- For recipes requiring multiple weapons, the best Mastercraft (highest total Accuracy + Reloading + Critical Hit) and the first rename (from top to bottom, left to right) will be transferred.
- Weapons crafted using Venditron base are Non-Transferable.

Since the earliest days of the outbreak, the Sledge Hammer was considered a highly powerful melee weapon against the undead. However, as the N4 virus continued to produce stronger and stronger mutations, even the mighty sledge hammer reached a point where its effectiveness fell short. Crafty engineers decided to drastically improve its damage potential by giving it a medieval makeover. The hammer head itself was completely reforged into a hollow, beveled container of heat-treated steel which was then filled with molten lead, making the hammer much heavier and giving it much more force behind each swing. The ends of the hammer head were additionally reshaped into tapered vertical wedges, dramatically increasing its potential to split infected bony armor clean open on impact. Finally, the wooden shaft was reinforced with steel banding that was then heat-treated to strengthen it. The resulting weapon from this process is more like a maul than anything else, and was christened the X-Hammer. Release: March 8th, 2019

The Inquisitor is one such example: A greatsword made for an eccentric movie star, made from a "space-age" titanium alloy and fitted with golden decorations. Its real cost comes from its companion scabbard, which automatically performs cleaning duty and coats the sword in a layer of mineral oil to keep it in top shape; Science Team has modified it to augment this oil with N-9/2025 poison, giving it an extra edge against the infected. Yet another eccletic mix of medieval brutality and advanced anti-zombie technology, created by Secronom with inputs from Valcrest's engineers. The Doomstar relies on a series of flared heads reinforced with Experimental Part alloy to shatter infected carapace, exposing the underlying soft flesh. After breaching, the user must then push a button to extend the spikes hidden inside the Doomstar's heads, which will then inject the target with a lethal does of N-9/2025. While undoubtably effective, this novel mechanism also means the Doomstar is a cumbersome, hard to manufacture and fragile weapon, requiring great melee experience and careful usage to avoid damaging the weapon's internals. The French GIGN were known for their tremendous flexibility in weaponry, offering operatives a wide variety of guns and allowing them to choose at their own discretion for any given mission. The Manurhin MR73 Sniper was a particularly exotic option: A mastercrafted .357 Magnum revolver designed to be a literal "pocket sniper", complete with an 8-inch (20.32cm) barrel, bipod and low-powered (for sniper rifle standards) scope. The MR73 Sniper was designed to be a compact alternative to high-powered snipers in urban situations, where a smaller profile is desired and overpenetration from sniper rounds is frowned upon. The MR550 "Rhea" appears to be an evolution of this concept, with test runs being done in both EU and US pre-outbreak. Blueprints suggested that the MR550 was capable of firing various types of ammunition after a cylinder change, ranging from the standard .357 to a prototype .550 APEI cartridge specifically designed for anti-materiel purpose. Thanks to this versatility, Fairview residents were quickly able to adapt the MR550 to fire post-apocalypse .55 pistol rounds, though with significant accuracy reduction due to the ammunition's shoddy quality. Born in the early 2010s, the QR22 was among one of the few attempts to usurp the Desert Fox's titles of "one handed wrist-breaker" and "ultimate compensator". The weapon garnered much hype thanks to its inclusion in the popular Modern Warfighter(TM) series of FPS, but only saw very limited production before the start of the outbreak. The QR22 finally managed to find a market in the post-apocalyptic world, thanks to its well built frame and its ability to fire the standard Fairview .55 with little modification. The QR22 is nicknamed "Obsidian" in honor of the creator of the Vlock XD11, who dreamed of a widely available .55 semi-auto pistol for the people but tragically died before he could see that becoming a reality. Adapting a body from a discarded Obsidian, reinforcing it with the technologies of the experimental parts as well using the N-9/2025 compound for extra damage against the N4 virus and adding a silencer for greater discretion when dispatching the infected, the baptized Hornet YJ-9 is a weapon that must be taken seriously. Being created specifically to compete against the mutations seen in Raven Ridge, its use in the rest of the city is not in doubt at all. Commonly used as a backup weapon for those who own a NighthawkYJ-4 , this due to the synergy that both weapons have. Release: Feburary 6th, 2024

With the design for the N-9/2025 somewhat functional on a pistol round, gunsmiths in Fairview carried on by adopting it to an intermediate rifle cartridge, like the 7.62x51mm NATO round that can be readily produced at Fort Pastor. For the rifle part, some of the most accurate M1 Garand copies available underwent a total redesign using parts taken from the Worg Carbine; this included a new camouflage paint job, a new recoil compensator, a high-powered scope and a modified feed system that uses 20-round BAR magazines for increased capacity. Sadly, the last part also removed the *ping* sound once the rifle is empty that is loved by so many fans of the original M1. Release: March 8th, 2019

The Zastava Arms M-137 "Silver Lance" is a prototype 14.5×114mm anti-materiel sniper designed in the Czech Republic, aimed at countering the rise of heavy infantry armors such as the Exterminator and Bio Reactive. Like its smaller cousin M-93, the M-137 uses a scaled-up Mauser 98 action dating back all the way to the Tankgewehr M1918, the first anti-materiel in history, though with plenty of modernizations to make the weapon more accurate and less painful to use. Several of these rifles were imported to Fairview to test the Scarab Reactive, before the sudden outbreak put that on indefinite hiatus. As the rifle's first few blueprints did not contain a trace of its initial name, it was given a new designation by Fairview citizens in line with the Ironsight 33-F. Release: July 27th, 2021

Different documents and development logs showed that this weapon entered development post-outbreak, in the secret facility located in the southeast area. Considered a combat chainsaw due to its powerful internal motor and fanged blade, capable of shredding the armor seen on the infected as if it were simple meat. As seen on several weapons of this indolie, the Sharktooth Ripper (codename Megadoldon XR-SAW according to the blueprints found) features a companion scabbard which automatically cleans the blade and teeth of the saw with a coating of oil to maintain it in perfect condition. The science team along with the gunsmiths have modified it to dispense the N-9/2025 compound instead to maximize its effectiveness against the mutants found on Fairview, mainly in the so called "Death Row". Several functional copies of this warsaw have been found on the southeastern borders, as well as the blueprints and materials required to create them. Release: July 27th, 2021

The classic Mannberg 500 was well renowned pre-outbreak for its simple design and reliability in tough conditions, but is held back by its tube magazine that requires the user to manually top off every round with each reload. Engineers tasked with converting this to using the N-9/2025 rounds have remedied this, first by converting it to the newer 590M model that feeds from a detachable mag instead, and going further by creating a 36-round drum mag to triple amount of time between reloads. A standard-issue bayonet was also affixed to the barrel, which proved to be more useful at opening tuna cans than at actually stabbing zombies. Release: March 8th, 2019

The Gneiss Assault Weapon is a prototype combat shotgun, designed with lessons from close quarter anti-insurgency operations in Iraq and Afganistan in mind. The GAW utlizes an inertia operated system in a bullpup configuration, and is supplied with either a standard 8 round or an immense quad stacked 20 to 30 round mag of 10 gauge shells - the latter appears to have been meant for soldiers with semi-powered armor, such as the Scarab Reactive that is also being developed in roughly the same timeframe. The GAW comes with an unusually wide choke more commonly associated with defensive shotguns, this appears to be a deliberate choice to increase hit probablity, as it was unlikely that any pre-outbreak human could survive even a fraction of a 10 gauge round without suffering significant impairment. Development of the GAW started in 2013 in several secret facilities in southeastern Fairview, with detailed blueprints and functional copies still existing to this day, often found surrounded by dead zombie corpses as a testament to the weapon's performance. The GAW has earned the nickname "goblin" amongst Fairview survivors, due to the surprising amount of suppressive fire packed in its compact package. Release: July 27th, 2021

A favorite of Fairview mall ninjas, the MP5 wound up being the prime candidate for N-9/2025 conversion. The X-MP5 features a heavily reinforced receiver and firing chamber to handle an overpressurized variant of the 9mm, a trick from the Russians that greatly improve the humble 9mm round's penetration capability against "zombie" armor. A prototype silencer was also developed in hopes of improving stealth capability and recreating the classic MP5SD look - predictably, it failed miserably due to the overpressurized ammunition, but survivors at least somewhat appreciated the extra recoil reduction and "cool" look it brings. FN's entry into a NATO contest for the next generation of personal defense weapon. This unnamed weapon (nicknamed the "heat pit" in reports due to issues with overheating) shares most of its internal workings with the P90, utilizing the same top-mounted magazine system and straight blowback operation but adapted to a sleeker and more conventional configuration. Mimicking the P90's ambidexterity features, the charging handle and mag release are present on both sides of the weapon, and spent casings are ejected through a chute located in the pistol grip. The Heat Pit fired an experimental cartridge that measured at around 7.5mm in diameter (hence the number 75), which was designed to have improved terminal performance over the 5.7mm while maintaining low weight and recoil. Unfortunately, the outbreak put the contest on hold, and the Heat Pit remained forgotten until its blueprint was re-discovered in the SEZ. Thankfully, the brand new Devil Heart-enhanced .55 round proved to be an acceptable replacement for the experimental cartridge and allowed the Heat Pit to be brought back into service, although only in very limited numbers Release: July 27th, 2021

The classic AK-47 wound up being chosen for conversion to the N-9/2025 round thanks to its simple mechanism and reliability, things greatly appreciated in the post-apocalyptic world where mud, blood and a lack of spare parts are simply facts of life. The conversion work included rechambering the gun for the heavier 7.62x51mm NATO reused from the X-Garand, creating a 100 round AK drum mag, and swapping the existing barrel with a heavier one for increased accuracy and heat tolerance. The result is a RPK-esque weapon that allows the survivor to maintain stable, continuous fire either on foot or from a stationary position, without having to compensate as much for recoil when aiming. The A10 Bull Shark was a relatively unknown AR-15 clone from a forgotten manufacturer, utilizing a novel 14mm cartridge said to be based on the .50 Beowulf. Originally advertised as a vehicle- and power-armor-buster due to its enormous caliber, the prototype cartridge failed to gather interest from any military or police branch, all of whom simply are more content with the versatility and compactness of underbarrel grenade launchers or the sheer power of anti-materiel rifles and MANPATS. In recent days, A10 blueprints and copies were discovered in an abandoned warehouse in Southeast Fairview, allowing the cartridge to be reverse engineered and the A10 to be put back into service again. As the cartridge has a much shorter length than the available 14.5x114mm, engineers have instead crafted it from spent .55 pistol casings, with a soft-point lead containing N-8/2035 gel core. The GShP-14.5 Burya (буря, Tempest) is rotary cannon developed by the Russian military at the early stage of the outbreak, and is currently being deployed by Russian heavy gunners tasked with clearing heavily infested zones. Little is known about this weapon, other than that it is gas-operated instead of being externally powered, and that it is specifically designed for the N2-enhanced human physique, as opposed to most other miniguns that started life as vehicle or aircraft mounted arnaments. The available Tempest copies are merely poor facsimiles, created by combining existing SCAR miniguns with whatever blueprints faxed to the SEZ facility before the power went out. Real Name: Mk 19 Grenade Launcher The Mk 19 is an American belt-fed automatic grenade launcher first developed during the Vietnam War. It fires 40mm heavy grenades at a cyclic rate of 325-375 rounds per minute. Designed to fire from a tripod or a vehicle mount (with the latter being preferable), the Mk19 is capable of penetrating the armors of most APCs/IFVs with a direct hit, and is also greatly effective against enemy infantry formations. The "Scorcher" variant is an evolution of the Mk19, made possible by the machinery discovered in SEZ and the ingenuity of Fairview residents. Key improvements include the reconfiguration of the trigger group to allow comfortable handling with a minigun-style chainsaw grip, the use of post-outbreak alloys that helped to lighten the weapon to a "man portable" 25.8kg, and, most importantly, the introduction of N-9/2025 munitions to improve the weapon's effectiveness against infected crowds. A step up from the experimental TN8 flamethrower, designed with inputs from Camp Valcrest engineers. The Dragon's Maw features an expanded tank that can hold up to 5 times more gasoline and catalyst than its predecessor, as well as a tertiary nozzle that pre-mixes fuel with oxygen before ignition, resulting in a more efficient, hotter flame that can pierce through even the most fire resistant target. Such improvements were made possible with the inclusion of Experimental Part alloy in its construction, utilizing its incredible heat resistance and durability to great effect.
