Crafting Materials

Most craftable item are unique to the crafting system, with only a few weapons having a tiny chance to be found whole. With that said most crafting materials can be looted within the Inner City, however, seasonal or event-specific items normally require you get the crafting components from a specific seasonal loot box you earn for free while playing during the event. Crafting also comes at the cost of a lump sum of cash on top of the required components.

Craftable Weapons and Craftable Implants make up for most of the non-seasonal craftables. This page lists all available items that can only be used for crafting purposes.

Generic Materials

Metal Scrap
Non-Transferable Scrap Value: $50	Used to craft low level items, or forge into a Metal Bar. Can be obtained by dismantling most 0-50 proficiency weapon and repair level 5-25 armor.
Uncommon Metal Scrap

Devils Heart
Scrap Value: $200,000	The heart of a Devil Hound is highly valued as the main ingredient of N-9/2025, a highly potent toxin used to manufacture specialized anti-zombie munitions. As a result, Devils Heart are always in high demand, and only with a bag full of these can you convince Fairview's greatest weaponsmiths to be at your service. On another note, Devils Heart can also be cooked into a fine borscht that will boost your vitality for a while. Used to craft various endgame weapons. Can also be consumed to gain +35% run/walk speed for 6 hours. Can be obtained by defeating the special Devil Hound boss in the Secronom Bunker area. (Spawns randomly once a day for 3 hours)
Volatile Hide
Scrap Value: $200,000	For long, traditional body armor development has been hindered by one major dilemma: While advanced armor plating can survive great punishment, blunt force trauma may regardless severely injure or kill its wearer if not properly dissipated. The hide from the cyst-covered back of a Volatile Leaper provides a surprising solution to this: Soft, porous, washable yet highly durable against scratches and gunshots, this novel material should allow survivors to develop armors that far surpass the limit of pre-outbreak ones. Additionally, it can be consumed like a meat jerky snack to briefly boost your raw strength, although the taste is said to be not very pleasant. Used to craft the Volatile/Volatile Devil Implants and various endgame armors. Can also be consumed to gain +35% damage for 6 hours. Can be obtained by defeating the special Volatile Leaper boss in the Wastelands. (Spawns randomly once a day for 3 hours)
Behemoth Biomass
Scrap Value: $350,000	The biomass recovered from the corpse of a Behemoth - once believed to be extinct - has exceptional uses when manufacturing different types of implants to date. By possessing large doses of the same ingredient necessary for the synthesis of compound N-9/2025, its maximum potential has yet to be discovered. Another claim to its fame is that it is an excellent cognitive stimulant, if consumed in controlled portions. Used to craft the Behemoth/Apex Implants. Can also be consumed to gain +50% EXP for 6 hours. Can be obtained by defeating the special Behemoth boss in the South Eastern Zone. (Spawns randomly once a day for 3 hours)
Experimental Parts
Scrap Value: $1,000,000 Dismantle: Rare Metal Scrap x 3	A silvery alloy used in the bandits' body armor, explaining their incredible resilience against most conventional firearms. Though the armor is almost always shot to bits after a firefight, usable chunks of this alloy can sometimes be salvaged and put to good use, given time and research.   Used to upgrade X-Dusk weapons/armors to Dawn tier, and craft Raven Ridge weapons. Can be obtained by defeating Bandits.
X-Dusk Parts (Dusk)This item belongs to the Dusk/X-Dusk set and can only be purchased from the Dusk Shops.
