Health is a common need for the well being of any survivor in a world, full of hungry zombies. Keeping in mind the fact that it is not just zombie mauls to be feared, there are quite a few kinds of medication means in the city, unspoiled by the outbreak.

Medication and Health Basics

Players start with 100% health. 1 HP is lost every 60 minutes when starving (0% Hunger). Health will also be lost when hit by zombies or players in PvP (Player vs. Player).

Health (HP, Hit Points, Health Points or simply resistance to hits) is increased by adding points to Endurance. However, it is not known if this statistic increases your absolute health (in percentage) or acts as an additional armor.
Several forms of medication exist in varying effectiveness to restore the players health. They can be created by Scientists or found in the Inner City.
When the player gains a level at Nastya's Holdout or a Personal Outpost, his health will be fully restored.

Health can be restored through various medical items. All medicines can now be self-administered since the Update at March 15 came into effect but if administered by doctors most treatments will have a much better healing effect. As you level up healing will require progressively stronger treatments. Currently, you can still use items with healing levels below your character level. However, the effect is drastically reduced (ex: plasters and sterile strips will restore a mere 3% health when administered on a level 11+ character). It is much more practical to use items with a healing level equal to your character level.

Important Notes

  • The amount of health does not affect experience gains.
  • After reviving, health will be at serious if you are level 1-10, whereas characters level 10+ will revive at critical at 20%. So just watch out for damage after dying.
  • While your health is at serious, your stats are reduced by 25% and when you're in critical condition by 50%

Health Indicators

  • Healthy = 75%+
  • Injured = 50 - 74%
  • Serious = 25 - 49%
  • Critical = 1 - 24%
  • Dead = 0%

Note: Medications can be administered with a doctor, which will make them more effective.

Medication Description
Plasters
"Plasters"

Restores 13% Health
Restores 39% Health if administered
Healing Level 10
Can be administered by Doctor Level 5+

Scrap Value: 5 $

More commonly known as band aids. Plasters are small, cheap and common. They are easy enough to use, that even a grade schooler could figure out their function. They can be used to cover up the numerous small cuts and scratches that accumulate from a day in the field, but are not suitable for larger, serious wounds.
Steri Strips
"Steri Strips"

Restores 18% Health
Restores 54% Health if administered
Healing Level 10
Can be administered by Doctor Level 5+

Scrap Value: 5 $

Steri Strips, or sterile strips as they are known in the domain, are small band aid like patches, which are used by a doctor along with a disinfecting agent to keep a wound clean and infection free.
Antibiotics
"Antibiotics"

Restores 13% Health
Restores 39% Health if administered
Healing Level 20
Can be administered by Doctor Level 15+

Scrap Value: 10 $

Antibiotics appeared in the 20th century as a means to counter bacterial infections. Since then, they have evolved in many ways, and so they are quite common today. Most commonly found as pills (as the common shouts of "PILLS HERE!" by scavengers and sellers in the marketplace will testify), but sometimes, anti-biotics required to be inserted by syringe, and improvised concoctions mixed for greater effect need an experienced doctor.
Antiseptic Spray
"Antiseptic Spray"

Restores 18% Health
Restores 54% Health if administered
Healing Level 20
Can be administered by Doctor Level 15+

Scrap Value: 10 $

Usually used in cleaning wounds to prevent infections or cleaning the house, these antiseptic sprays have found their use in healing lesser wounds of zombie intent. They are quite common, and you don't have to be a technician to find out how to use them.
Bandages
"Bandages"

Restores 15% Health
Restores 45% Health if administered
Healing Level 30
Can be administered by Doctor Level 25+

Scrap Value: 15 $

A bandage is a piece of cloth material, used either to support a medical device such as a dressing or splint, or on its own to provide support to the body. In this outbreak zone, bandages are effectively used by doctors to support broken bones and to stop large, heavily bleeding wounds.
Morphine
"Morphine"

Restores 15% Health
Restores 45% Health if administered
Healing Level 40
Can be administered by Doctor Level 35+

Scrap Value: 20 $

Morphine is a highly potent opiate analgesic drug and is the principal active agent in opium. Like heroin, morphine acts directly on the central nervous system to relieve pain. It is as such very strong, and although its healing power is not as high as other medication methods, it is a very powerful pain reliever.
Nerotonin-2
"Nerotonin-2"

Restores 15% Health
Restores 45% Health if administered
Healing Level 50
Can be administered by Doctor Level 45+

Scrap Value: 25 $

Nerotonin-2, Also known as the N2 virus, is a predecessor to the disastrous N4 virus. The N2 Virus has been reprogrammed at a genetic level, to reconstruct damaged or missing tissue on a cellular scale, regenerating even the most serious of wounds in a matter of seconds. The Virus has been reprogrammed to attack any foreign pathogens or infections, effectively curing most diseases, however it will not attack healthy human cells. Naturally, this made it ineffective for the curing of cancer, and so work on the N3 virus began.
